We are a woodturning club that meets several times a month for demonstrations, hands on turning and to share tips, tricks and experiences.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our demonstrator, Katie Armstrong, is unable to make it on the 11th September.![]()
We are trying to reschedule for the 18th or 25th.![]()

It’s been an exciting time at the club over the last few days. Our new lathes have arrived and some of the club members have been busy dismantling the old lathes ready for collection.![]()
There are still a couple of lathes available for purchase so please get in touch if you’re interested.

We have 6 identical lathes up for sale at the bargain price of £850 each.![]()

The lathes will be available when the new ones arrive (due mid August).![]()

Our present lathes are not badged but are almost equivalent to the Sturmer Holzstar DB 1202 lathe. These are on sale in this country by at least 3 dealers priced new between £2700 and £3000+. Manuals for the lathes are also available free on the internet.![]()

The lathes are about 10 years old, the only differences I can see are the new DB1202 have a turning wheel on the left of the headstock and an emergency stop on the top of the headstock.![]()

The lathes will come with a chuck, faceplate, tool rest and rotating centre.![]()

Note: The Camvac and the castor system are not included in the sale.![]()
